The 46 year old owner of West Salem Restoration, Brian Carlton comes from a family of builders, and has been around construction all his life. He could be seen working on houses his uncles were building at the age of nine years old.  He has held several jobs in construction such as heating and air conditioning installer, electrician, carpenter, painter, carpet installer, sheet rock installer, roofer etc. 
There are too many to list them all. 

West Salem Restoration was founded in 2000, in the historic West Salem neighborhood, there Brian found an abundant supply of houses in need of restoration. He has personally, and almost single handily restored 10 houses in the neighborhood, and worked on close to 50 in the area.
